Meet Nigel

Hello, my name is Nigel, I’m a twelve year old male Staffy. I arrived at The Mayhew after being found abandoned on the streets of London. I’m a sweet-natured chap with lots of character. I’m super friendly with everyone I meet, always greeting people with a waggy tail. I also like to talk to people with barks and endearing little grumbling noises. I’m a very affectionate boy. I enjoy going to the park and get along well with other dogs I meet out and about but I won’t tolerate them harassing me and I will tell them off if they become too much for me. I’m active for my age. I have slightly raised liver enzymes so I need to be fed a special diet, which isn’t a problem as I love my food! I also love my toys and I especially enjoy de-stuffing teddies. I’m a very special boy who captures the hearts of everyone I meet. I will make some lucky person a loyal and loving companion. I’m now looking for a forever home with someone who has owned dogs before and has researched my breed type. I’ll need a home where there is someone around for most of the day and I’ll need to live in a house or flat with direct access to a garden. I’d happily live with teenagers and I can live with a female dog providing we’re the right match. I wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in offering me a home you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, which must not be taken lightly. I hope to see you soon, Nigel x Weight: 18kgs Nigel is currently living in foster care until his new forever home is found. If you are interested in adopting him you will need to visit The Mayhew first before going to see him in his foster home     http://themayhew.org/animal-adoption/dogs/
