Can you rehome Vee?

Vee is a 5 year old Springer Spaniel, a former breeding bitch who came into our care just before Christmas. Vee has been in foster whilst she settles into home life as she formerly lived outdoors. Vee is a sensitive soul who soothes herself by collecting items and carrying them around with her. This led to her teeth being very worm down and she had to have a dental and have some removed. She is recovering well though thanks to lots of TLC from her foster family. Vee is learning about the outside world slowly and she is very frightened at times, particularly by noise, so she will be looking for a sensitive owner who can help her build her confidence at her own pace with positive experiences . In the home she is also learning to be clean indoors and is doing very well, she is clean at night an when left, but needs to be reminded with regular visits to the garden. So any adopter must be prepared for accidents whilst she gets to grips with this. Vee enjoys company of other dogs and people, she does require encouragement to play at the moment, this could be because she is in foster with Honey who is a lot more forward and can demand the attention! Vee will also happily take herself off to bed for quiet time of her own accord too. Vee can live with dogs, children 10+, and can be left for a few hours (but not all day as she enjoys company), she has not been destructive when left, she is untested with cats. Vee will be spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, up to date with flea/worm treatments and will come with 6 weeks free pet insurance. Minimum donation £175 and home visit apply. If you would like to apply to adopt Honey, please email so we can send you a Pre Adoption Questionnaire. Rspca Essex South and Southend Dogs
