Danny Boy is a lovely boy once he knows you, he has to have a female owner on a one to one basis, this is all due to him being mistreated. Unfortunately this poor sad little lad, through no fault of his own was kicked and abused in his previous home, living day after day in constant fear, hiding and cowling away from his owner.
This is a very sad case due Danny Boy’s previous male owner who was sadly suffering with-Alzheimers and didn’t realise what he was inflicting on his once best friend.
Please therefore understand why our darling sad, confused, untrustworthy, frightened little Danny boy can be unpredictable towards men, and is quite nervous when first meeting you and needs to settle in slowly. Is there someone out there that can reassure him, give back the love he once knew, to enable him to trust that once again, like the song above will there ever be any pipes a calling for our Danny Boy?????? Or does he have to continue to hope, dream, wish for someone to call his name.
Look into those eyes, see his pain, reach out to him, give him a chance, give him time to trust you, give him back his life, give him the confidence, patience and love that he needs, LOVE that we all need. I know the right person is out there, make our Danny Boy’s wish come true, a loving home this Christmas, that day and every other one there on, FIND HIM PLEASE.

This is Lucky, a Yorkie cross aged approx 7 years & neutered. Lucky was handed to us as his owner died and relatives could not take him on. Lucky is being fostered in a home with 3 other large dogs and here is what his foster mum says about him.. … ‘Lucky is good with children and seems well socialised with dogs. He is playful and a…gile, and really loves his walks, he’s being walked on harne…ss, and a trailing lead for free running and is learning recall with aid of hot dog treats! Lucky has no trouble keeping up with the other big dogs he goes for his walks with.
Lucky really loves attention and affection and loves to sit on the sofa and on your lap, and would benefit from having your undivided attention which he thrives on. Lucky is proving to be very trainable, he enjoys his treats and has an excellent appetite.

Almost 7 yr old Khan is still looking for a special forever home. He’s currently lucky enough to be in foster care, but he’s looking for a home where he can be the only pet, with experienced owners. Khan has not had the opportunity to socialise with other dogs much and will need continued positive training to hel…p him with this, which we can offer support with. Khan is homeless due to his previous owners terminal illness. Khan was allowed a lot of freedom in the past (wandering in and out of the home at will) so will need a secure home, as he can open some doors, and it’s not appropriate to let him wander unsupervised!
Khan absolutely adores being with his people, loves affection, being groomed, and will wake you in the morning with a huge kiss. He walks well when using a gentle leader, and enjoys a ride in the car. Yes, he does have his faults, but don’t we all, and we will be here to offer support and advice.
